Edil Lame was born during the frenetic sixties of the Italian economic boom, in a small workshop located in the heart of Tuscany.

Since then, thanks to the growing development of the construction sector, to the passion and skills acquired over the years for construction machinery, the company has grown to become a leader on international markets in the production of construction machinery and equipment, in particular tilting, reversing, hydraulic and hybrid concrete mixers.

History

The story of Edil Lame was born in a small laboratory in Val D'Elsa in the mid-60s with the company LAME sdf. In those years the small workshop produced only about ten concrete mixers a day, with a slow and noisy movement, which for years they have mixed immense quantities of sand and cement for the construction of residential, commercial and production centers in the area. At the beginning of the 1980s, the company found itself in need of new energy and stimuli to meet the needs of the market. The second generation of entrepreneurs took over the family management and led to the establishment of the new Edil Lame Srl. The development of a new company management system, the strong innovation of the production processes, the increase in the range of products brought the company early 2000s to produce up to 14,000 concrete mixers per year, 20% of which destined for foreign markets, such as Europe, Africa, Asia and America. Today Edil Lame is present with its quality products all over the world as the different versions of the machines easily adapt to any production and cultural context and remains a point of reference for the most demanding customers thanks to the ability to provide an accurate and punctual after-sales service and assistance.

For 60 years the company has been designing, manufacturing and marketing concrete mixers and equipment for construction sites, products of the highest quality and high performance, robust and easy to handle, machinery that reduce the operator's physical effort and perform at the highest levels of safety. Edil Lame products are able to satisfy any professional need, from medium-large to small construction sites, from renovations to "do-it-yourself": concrete mixers and mixers for the production and transport of cement mortar, concrete, stucco, paints and adhesives for gluing, automatic machines for bending and cutting iron rods and wooden carpentry, lifting and handling systems, earthmoving machinery, construction site accessories.

Technology

The continuous and accurate research of materials and finishes, the advanced technologies developed in response to market needs, such as the development of low-vibration and silenced machines, hydrostatic drive concrete mixers, the innovation of hybrid concrete mixers equipped with an ideal generator for construction sites without connection to the electricity grid, they are the strong point of the company's technological innovation. The Edil Lame plant is located on an area of approximately 15,000 square meters and is equipped with cutting-edge production machines and equipment, with particular attention to protecting the environment thanks to the photovoltaic solar energy system which significantly reduces emissions of CO2 in the environment.
